FAQs

Q?Can PDR help me sell my car?
A.
Most people judge a car by its appearance and quite often equate a car’s exterior with the level of maintenance and upkeep it may have had. If it looks good they tend to assume it has been well taken care of. If you’re selling your car, PDR is one of the best ways to get top dollar, more interested buyers, and a quicker sale.
Q?Can any dent be fixed?
A.
No. The most important factors in determining if a dent can be repaired by PDR are depth, sharpness and location. Refer to What Premier Do
Q?Will my dents come back?
A.
No. Once a dent has been removed properly with PDR, it never comes back.
Q?Will my dents be 100% gone?
A.
On minor dents, in most cases, yes. The deeper the dent, the more difficult it is to repair. Even on larger dents, people are quite often amazed at the results.
Q?Will my paint be damaged?
A.
No, for the most part, today’s factory paints are very flexible and will not be damaged by this process. PDR is the only way to repair a dent and still keep your factory paint. If there is any risk of paint damage due to the type of dent, our technician will discuss this with you before the job is commenced.
Q?Can I choose any PDR technician, for example, the cheapest one?
A.
Making a decision on which PDR technician to use based on the cheapest price can often be a mistake, as skill levels vary widely among technicians. It is important to select a technician that is licenced, knowledgeable and experienced. In NSW the Motor Vehicle Repair Industry Authority is the organisation for setting and administering nationally accepted standards for the automotive industry.
